ConnectED Fellow Developer Liaison
Marcus Noel is a ConnectED Fellow and Ed Tech Developer Liaison in OET. His role is to help support and catalyze the edtech entrepreneurial community. Marcus is one of the primary organizers of the national Ed Tech Developer’s Tour. Marcus is a Education Pioneers Fellow and a social entrepreneur, passionate about teaching entrepreneurship and design to students in underserved communities. He graduated from Morehouse College with additional studies at the London School of Economics.
Brendan is a graduate student at the University of Michigan working on a joint-degree in applied economics and public policy, with a focus on education policy and social entrepreneurship. At OET, he focuses primarily on issues surrounding innovation in higher education. Outside of the office, he spends his time searching for food-related adventures, which are always a good idea.

As Senior Advisor at the Office of Education Technology, Katrina manages Future Ready, Education Innovation Clusters and rapid cycle tech evaluation work. In former roles, Katrina worked to bring together stakeholders across the edtech ecosystem for meaningful dialogue and action. She spent the first 20 years of her career as an educator in schools, most recently in the central office at Baltimore County Public Schools. She cofounded and moderates #edtechchat, served as an international Startup Weekend Education Facilitator, and founded a monthly edtech happy hour.
Program Analyst Official Bio
Nabeel is a Program Analyst at OET. He is responsible for scheduling as well as managing OET’s continuity program. He is a 13 year Active Duty Air Force Veteran and currently serves in the Air Force Reserves. He enjoys cooking and photography.
